Cryotherapy also known as “freezing” brown spots with liquid nitrogen has been around for decades.

This simple in office procedure can be used to spot treat specific brown spots and growths on your face and body.

When full face laser treatments or peels are not needed or not desired, cryotherapy offers another safe and easy option to even out skin tone and reduce the telltale signs of years spent outdoors in the sun.

A gentle cold spray is directed at the specific area of concern causing a frostbite type reaction. There is a small stinging sensation which is temporary.

After the procedure, the spot will be red and swollen for a few days.  The brown spot will get darker brown and eventually will flake off after approximately 1-2 weeks. Sometimes more than one treatment is needed to fully remove the spot.  Repeat treatments can be done at monthly intervals or as needed.
