What's new for 2012?

Beginning in January, we would like to ease your burden with insurance reimbursement by submitting your claims directly from our office after your visit. We will still be collecting payment for all services on the day of your visit as we are not contracted providers with any private insurance companies. However, by submitting your claim electronically, we hope to minimize the hassles you may have experienced in the past. Patricia is here to assist you with any other insurance questions you may have.

As we continue our efforts to go green, we will be scanning all patient treatment records from 2001 to 2009 into our electronic medical records system. This means any requests for copies of medical records or transfer of records will preferably be handled electronically. If paper records are requested, a $25 administrative fee will be charged. We appreciate your understanding in minimizing paper waste.

Dr. Roberts will be hosting a series of "educational events" in the office to discuss a variety of skin care topics of interest to her patients. These events will be designed to give those wanting more in depth information on a topic or procedure the time to ask those burning questions in a small group setting. Stay posted for details. If you have a particular topic you would like discussed, please let us know! Or if you have a group of 10-15 people that would like to attend, Dr. Roberts would be delighted to accommodate such requests.

In addition, we will be introducing a "skin care questionnaire" for all our patients in an effort to better address your particular concerns and needs. We appreciate your cooperation in filling out the form.

And last but not least remember the 3 keys to healthy beautiful skin...wash your face at the end of every day, moisturize twice a day and never forget your sunscreen!
